Almost over.

The DLP ended Thursday. Jon will graduate from TEPSE this coming Friday. And then the walls of the classroom, which could tell so many stories, will be bored for a few months. May we finish strong.

This Week

I came to the Barn today and while I was waiting for my ferry across the river, I noticed all the cars. Why are they all there? Because we are hosting the Residency Phase for the Distance Learning Program course on Personal Evangelism. We are blessed with seven students and have a busy, exciting week ahead. Please keep on praying for us....

Our passtime of choice

"Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight, hollow ball back and forth with rackets (also known as "bats" or "paddles"). The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. Play is fast and demands quick reactions. A skilled player can impart several varieties of spin to the ball, altering its trajectory and limiting an opponent's options to great advantage."*

Its what we do for fun around here. And playing is a requirement to get into TEPSE. Not really, but close enough. :)

Little Evangelists

A Sea of People

A few of us had the same thought at various times last week. We were overwhelmed (as always) by the amount of people going into and coming out of the Masters. All of them rushing about....to where? A golf course? Their cars? To meet up with friends?
Most of them have no idea where they are going. No idea what live holds, what will happen to them after death, or any reality on what eternity is.

I am reminded of our Lord's emotions when He looked at the crowds, "But when He aw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and where scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd."

By All Means

"...I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel's sake..."
