Barb whispered that in my ear as Jon was preparing the board for his gospel message. About 10 feet behind us representatives from a cola company were handing out sodas for free. We couldn't help but think of the obvious contrast between those sodas with no value and the eternal value of the gospel message that was being preached. Many people don’t know what Christ has to offer them and we all have such a tremendous responsibility to share the good news with the lost. “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” (Rom. 10:13,14) We cannot force anyone to take the living water, but we should offer it to them.
