Recently, we have made some changes to our Distance Learning Program (DLP), which is a relatively new aspect of our ministry. We are attempting to adapt it to meet the needs of those who are interested in applying their time to a serious study of God's Word but are unable to commit to a regular TEPSE school schedule.

Two New Formats

Two formats for the DLP program are being conducted this year - a WEEKEND and a WEEK study format. The amount of time spent will determine the scope of study for each format offered. The requirement for each of the DLP formats will simply be attendance at all sessions offered in the format, along with some recommended reading and a final assignment to be completed after attending the DLP sessions.

WEEKEND Session

Our first DLP WEEKEND offering is planned for next weekend (Feb. 19-21) at The Bible Chapel of Shawnee in Kansas City, KS. The topic of study will be Christology, that being the study of the person of Christ, including His deity, His humanity and their inter-relationships. This DLP WEEEND course offering will begin with two sessions on Friday evening (7-10 pm), all day sessions on Saturday (9 am - 6 pm) and concludes with two sessions on Sunday afternoon (2-4 pm).

WEEK Sessions

Later in the year, the DLP WEEK course offerings will be conducted at two different sites. The first DLP WEEK course offering will be conducted at Camp Hope in Dahlonega, GA, (north of Atlanta) from May 17-21 and then again at The Bible Chapel of Shawnee from June 14-18. The topic of study for these course offerings will be Soteriology - the doctrine of Christ's atoning work done on the cross on our behalf in regard to our salvation and the resulting benefits.

Let Us Hear From You

We're going the distance to bring you these opportunities to further your understanding of the Word of God. Please consider joining us to become a better student of the Word, "a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Tim. 2:15.
